The Florida Highway Patrol says all lanes of I-95 between Bridge Road and Kanner Highway have reopened, more than 10 hours after they were all shut down.
The driver of a pickup died when his truck heading south early Wednesday morning in the northbound lanes of I-95 in Martin County crashed into an SUV killing a passenger in that vehicle.
The crash happened just before 2 a.m. at mile marker 100, just before Kanner Highway.
Troopers identified the pickup driver as 31 year old Troy Van Snook of Port St. Lucie. FHP says the wrong-way driver struck a northbound Ford Explorer driven by Karsten Trevor Anderson of Fort Pierce, who is listed in serious condition. His passenger, 26-year-old Bryan Llewellyn Jackson of Port St. Lucie, was pronounced dead at the scene.
