Hate to put another obit up but this man was a true legend. If you like Country music or not, I don't think anybody didn't like his signature song.

Lost another legend yesterday the great Richie Havens died of an heart attack at the age of 72 according to his publicist.

I met him on an escalator in a Vegas Hotel many years ago. It was one of those....hey aren't you?...he just turned and smiled, extended his hand to shake mine. No picture no autograph just a great experience.
